What if there isn't just one version of your future?
What would your life look like if you followed the path you're already on? What if you took a completely different direction? And what if you designed a future that doesn't look like either of them?
In this workshop, we'll explore the Odyssey Plan, a life-planning exercise developed by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans at Stanford's Life Design Lab.
Using a series of guided questions and templates, we'll sketch out three possible versions of the next chapter of our lives, thinking about work, relationships, place, interests and the things that matter to us.
The aim isn't to predict the future or make a five-year plan. It's an opportunity to step outside the path we're currently on, imagine alternatives and notice what each possibility tells us about what we actually want.
We'll work through the exercises together, with plenty of time for reflection and conversation, and finish with wine around the table at Phrēn.
No particular experience or preparation needed. Just bring an open mind.
